¶ 📜 Terms and Conditions (T&C)
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by EgoPvP Hosting.
By purchasing or using any service from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
This agreement is legally binding under the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In these Terms, unless otherwise stated:
- “Provider” refers to EgoPvP Hosting.
- “Client” refers to the person or entity purchasing or using services.
- “Service” means any product, hosting service, or resource provided by the Provider.
- “Downtime” means any period during which the Service is not accessible, excluding planned maintenance, force majeure events or any Issues caused by wrong configurations by the Client.
- These Terms apply to all contracts between EgoPvP Hosting (“Provider”) and the customer (“Client”).
- Deviating terms by the Client are only binding if expressly accepted in writing.
- The current version of the Terms is published at wiki.egopvp-hosting.com.
We provide digital infrastructure services, including but not limited to:
- Game server hosting
- File storage
- Databases
- Web-based tools and dashboards
- Limited technical support
- Web-hosting services
⚠️ Services may be subject to changes, software updates, or removal for operational reasons, e.g., hardware upgrades, maintenance, vulnerabilities.
- Services are generally provisioned automatically after successful payment.
- In rare cases, provisioning may take up to 24 hours.
- The Provider is not liable for delays due to external payment verification processes.
- Services are billed and provisioned on a monthly pre-paid basis. Services may Auto-Renew but customers are nor bound on a contractual basis.
- Unless canceled, you will have the option to automaticly renew your Service every month.
- Clients may cancel services at any time via the dashboard.
- Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.
- We reserve the right to terminate services for abuse, fraud, overdue payment, Illegal activity or breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Our Services are sold “as-is” and “as-available”.
- Invoices are generated automatically and are due upon issuance.
- Accepted payment methods: PayPal, Stripe (Credit Card, Bank Transfer), or other supported gateways.
- If payment is not received within 72 hours after the due date:
- The service will be terminated
- All data for the Service will be PERMANENTLY DELETED upon termination.
- Chargebacks or payment reversals will result in immediate Service and Account suspension.
We target 98.9% uptime monthly.
- Compensation: If uptime falls below 98.9% (8 hours downtime) in a given month (excluding scheduled maintenance, abuse, wrong configuration by the client, or force majeure), clients may request extra runtime for the downtime.
- For each 4 hours of Downtime, we offer the Client 1 day extra Runtime on the Service.
- Any compensation must be manually claimed within 4 days of the incident.
- Official Outages will be made Public via our X Account or Posts on our Status Page
¶ 🛠️ Maintenance Windows
We may perform scheduled maintenance that may temporarily affect availability. Where reasonably possible, we will post prior notice on the status page or dashboard. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice to preserve security or stability.
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power or network failures, war, terrorism, labour disputes, government actions, or failures of third‑party providers or data centres. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate and to notify you of any impact.
- Clients must keep login credentials confidential.
- We are not liable for damage caused by unauthorized access due to weak or shared passwords.
- Shared access (e.g., team members) must follow the permissions system and may not bypass security measures.
We are required to inform all customers in case of a security breach.

(Support requests will not be answered via this email.)
If the Client is found in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy, we may PERMANENTLY terminate their account and all their services.
We refuse service for all terminated users. If you are found to be bypassing a penalty, your account will be terminated again. Legal consequences may follow.
⚠️ If you want to file an Abuse report, pleae send us an Email at [email protected]. Provide Logs & details in your initial mail please.
💡 We do not collect or store in/outbound packet logs. We are not able to provide logs of say 7th of February, 2024.
- All services are subject to fair use policies for CPU, RAM, disk I/O, and network usage.
- Excessive or abusive usage that impacts other clients may result in throttling, suspension, or termination.
- Unlimited offers (e.g., bandwidth) are still subject to reasonable and non-abusive use.
Fair Use means that resources such as CPU, RAM, disk I/O, and network bandwidth are shared among customers.
You may use the resources included in your plan freely, as long as your usage does not:
- Significantly exceed normal operation for similar servers
- Negatively affect the performance or stability of the platform for other customers
- Violate technical or legal limitations
- The Provider is not responsible for licensing, legality, or functionality of third-party software (e.g., mods, plugins, website content).
- Clients are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to use and distribute any third-party content.
- Any reported Services may be checked, suspended and terminated if the claims turn out to be true.

EgoPvP Hosting adheres to GDPR and German data privacy laws.
We process personal data on behalf of the Client as necessary to provide the services ordered (e.g., customer data, payment information, game server data, customer databases).

¶ 📥 Backups and Data Responsibility
- We provide optional automated backups via our Dashboard. See Server Controlling on how to set them up.
- Clients are fully responsible for backing up their data. EgoPvP Hosting has no direct access to a client’s service data and is not liable for loss of files or data due to a misconfiguration.
- Deleted servers cannot be recovered after termination.
¶ 🧾 Refunds and Cancellations
- Refunds may be requested within 72 hours of purchase under fair use.
- See our Refund Policy for details.
- Mid-Month Downgrades do not yield refunds.
- The upgrade fee is non-refundable.
- The Affiliate Program is a voluntary programm that we decide to do at our own discretion. At no point in time a User has any claim to any Affiliate Balance or participation in said Program.
- To join the Affiliate Program, the User has to agree and sign an Affiliate Terms document. This document outlines general Terms and Rules the Partnership will be based on.
- The Affiliate System can be subject to technical failure. In the event of such a failure, EgoPvP Hosting will make commercially reasonable efforts to verify commissions through payment records and affiliate codes. Verified sales will be credited to the Partner’s balance.
- Commisions are calculated after Discounts and Taxes and are credited “as-is”
- We reserve the right to remove any user from the Affiliate programm at any time without further notice.
- When deleting your Account, all Affiliate balance will be lost. You have the ability to request a final payout regardless of the “minimum payout balance” via our Ticket System.
All prices are shown exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged where applicable. We may adjust prices for future billing cycles; any change will be announced in advance. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law or stated otherwise in our policies.
By placing an order, you represent that you are 18+ and legally competent; or, if you are 7–17, that you have prior, verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian.
We may request evidence of consent at any time and may refuse, suspend, or cancel Services where consent is not provided.
Using PayPal or a credit/debit card is not proof of age or valid consent.

¶ 🔄 Upgrades and Downgrades
When upgrading your server:
- You only pay an Upgrading Fee of 2,50€ at the time of upgrading. Your monthly invoice will be adjusted to the new plan.
- The Upgrading Fee is non‑refundable upon downgrading or requesting a general refund.
- Downgrading a server does not result in partial refunds for unused time.
We may suspend or limit Services, with or without notice, if your use poses a security risk, violates law or our AUP, or exposes others to harm.
We may preserve and disclose account data if required by law enforcement or legal process, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Where lawful and feasible, we will notify you of requests.
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Clients will be notified at least 7 days in advance before changes take effect.
- Continued use of services after changes indicates acceptance.
- If a client does not Agree with the new Terms, we hold the right to suspend your Account and Services.
- These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany and may be updated according to new Laws.
- Severability: If a clause is invalid, the remaining clauses remain in force.
- If we provide translations, the English version of these Terms controls in case of conflict, unless a mandatory local language version is required by law.
